Toastmasters as storytellers? Of course! What better way to practice public speaking! Weave a story, add a spark of interest, a dash of fun and we are off. Storytelling, like any other speech, has a point, a message and is organized to impact, and possibly motivate, the audience. It is the perfect venue to practice body language and phrasing that will paint a picture.
We (all of us) have an opportunity to tell a story under a full moon and around a campfire. If there a more perfect setting? SMLC hosts a full moon campfire on the Saturday closest to the moon. This month it will be on August 16th. Want more info?
